Meet the duo who combined their innovative ideas for helping children build functional skills and succeed in the classroom to design educational approaches that have improved lives around the world.

Andy Bondy, PhD

Andy Bondy is president and co-founder of Pyramid Educational Consultants. Dr. Bondy is an innovative leader in the field of autism and applied behavior analysis. He directed a statewide public school system for students with autism for fourteen years. He is co-author of the PECS Training Manual. He also wrote the Pyramid Approach to Education, a training manual that offers an integrated orientation to developing effective educational environments blending applied behavior analysis with functional activities and creative communication strategies. Dr. Bondy received his MA and Ph.D. from the UNC Greensboro, and completed his clinical internship in 1976 at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Bondy has presented numerous papers, lectures and workshops in regional, national and international conferences and conventions on behavior analysis, PECS and the Pyramid Approach to Education. He has remained active in research and writing, and continues to develop new and innovative methods of helping children with autism and related developmental disorders.

Lori Frost, MS, CCC-SLP

Lori Frost is vice-president and co-founder of Pyramid Educational Consultants. She is co-author of The PECS Training Manual. She has been the driving force behind creating PECS, a unique system that allows children with limited communication abilities to initiate communication with teachers, parents, and peers. Ms. Frost has a wealth of background in functional communication training and applied behavior analysis. She has assisted in the development of a number of training packages designed to teach language and academic skills. Ms. Frost received her BA in speech pathology and audiology from the University of Arkansas, and MS in speech and language pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1982. She has worked in many public and private school settings as a speech pathologist. As a Pyramid consultant, Ms. Frost has traveled across the country and the world, teaching workshops on PECS and the Pyramid Approach to Education. She has presented a number of papers and lectures on autism and communication, co-authored several articles and chapters, and is respected by professionals in her field as a leader in functional communication systems.

Eftychia Arabisoglou Speech Therapist, MSc, BCBA

Eftychia Arabisoglou earned a BA in Speech Therapy from ATEI Patras in 2003 and then received a MA from Bangor University, Wales in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and is a BACB Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She has been trained in Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA) and the implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans, based on B.F. Skinner's Verbal Behavior as well as in the Pyramid Approach to Education. She has been a certified PECS Supervisor, Pyramid Consultant and speaker at Pyramid Educational Consultants seminars since 2007. She has trained and supervised thousands of professionals and parents in the implementation of PECS and the Pyramid Approach to Education.
Her clinical interest is focused on the organization and implementation of programs that take place at home, in the community, and in private intervention centers and are based on the Pyramid Approach. In these programs, she trains parents in the implementation of the Pyramid Approach and PECS at home and in the community, and professionals and students in their implementation in the intervention center and in the community. She also works as a manager in Early Intervention programs for preschool and school-age children. As a speech therapist, she prepares and implements individualized speech development programs for people with ASD and Dyspraxia. At the same time, she deals with the analysis of the functioning of unwanted behaviors and the development of personalized programs for the management of these behaviors. She has been implementing PECS since 2004 and in collaboration with Ms. Eleana Logothetis MSc, they are constantly working to adapt PECS to the Greek-speaking population. She works with renowned colleagues in the field of Special Education, in Greece and abroad.

Eleana Logothetis MSc

Eleana Logothetis obtained a degree in Psychology from the University of Athens and then a master's degree in Child Psychology from the University of London. She has attended a series of training seminars in Greece and abroad on the Application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Skinner's Verbal Behavior theory and the Educational Pyramid Model in the training of people with ASD by certified Behavior Analysts. She began her career as a therapist in intensive early behavioral intervention programs. She then worked as a case manager and therapist supervisor in programs for children and adolescents with ASD and developmental disorders. She is a certified trainer of the Portage program and has worked systematically training parents in teaching skills to children with developmental disorders, Down syndrome and psychomotor retardation. Since 2004, she has been co-director of the special treatment center ENAVSMA. Her clinical interest focuses on designing home-based, center-based, community-based therapeutic programs based on the Pyramid Educational Model, professional supervision, and training parents of children with ASD in the Pyramid Model and PECS. She is a certified PECS Supervisor, Pyramid Consultant and speaker at Pyramid Educational Consultants seminars since 2013. She has trained thousands of professionals and parents in the implementation of PECS, in Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Bulgaria and North Macedonia. She has been implementing PECS since 2003 and works together with Eftychia Arabisoglou on adapting PECS to the Greek-speaking population.
